The form is a loose illustration of the concept of time, French philosopher Henri Bergson – ‘We always perceive the concept of time only in certain temporal moments, only sometimes do we realize that time is passing; but nevertheless, we form the concept of continuous, uninterruptedly passing time.’
By its very nature, is time a continuity, unbrokenly linking past and future, or does it consist of present disconnected moments? Is continuity an essential feature of time (and being) that we can grasp through a particular type of cognition (pure and direct intuitive understanding), or is it a construct of discursive (technically oriented) cognition?
